MidCarolina Pediatrics is located in the Whitehall-Steel Creek area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Our office is situated in a new medical complex. Designed specifically by Dr. Andrew Ighade, our practice has a layout that meets the needs of our patients and their families. We have created separate waiting and sick rooms to prevent healthy children from contracting illnesses while visiting the office.
Our office provides a “safety-proof” environment for your child. MidCarolina Pediatrics is the recipient of numerous awards and certifications. MidCarolina Pediatrics was recognized as a Practice of Distinction (2008), awarded a certificate for improving performance in ED rates in our first quarter 2008 state practice profile report, and twice received the Above and Beyond Certificate of Performance and Contribution to Medicaid Carolina Access II and its community (2008).
Our mission is to provide wellness and preventive medical care, as well as care for children with acute and chronic illnesses. The focus of our practice is on preventive care, minor trauma, sports injuries, physical exams, and urgent care. We offer referral services for our patients. We schedule referral appointments for radiology, MRI, CT scans, neurology, and referrals to specialists.
